AT THE WORLD’S END WITH EDGAR WRIGHT

The end of the world is nigh, and so is Edgar Wright’s beloved ‘Cornetto Trilogy’.  We got our first tasty serving in 2004 with the zombie romp hit ‘Shaun of the Dead’. We had to wait three whole years before we got our second serve with the delicious buddy cop movie ‘Hot Fuzz’. Next month we’re getting our last scoop of apocalyptic goodness with ‘The World’s End’. Hitting Australian screens on August 1st, ‘The World’s End’ follows five friends (Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Paddy Cosidine and Eddie Marsan) who reunite in an attempt to top their epic pub crawl from 20 years earlier unwittingly become humankind’s only hope for survival. Also along for the ride are Rosamund Pike and English comedy great Mark Heap (Jam, Spaced, Green Wing).

Earlier this week I got the chance to sit down with the man himself, Edgar Wright, and get the skinny on his new film. We also play a little pub trivia and then he answers some of your questions from Facebook. – Enjoy

And if you haven’t seen it, check out the ridiculously brilliant trailer for ‘The World’s End’ below
