Mega Shark vs Mecha Shark – The Asylum’s announced their next monster film!
We all love The Asylum (come on you know you secretly do), and coming off their social media hit SHARKNADO they have announced a new Shark related film!
So what is it this time? Well that Mega Shark has a new foe to battle with MEGA SHARK VS MECHA SHARK! This will mark the third film in the series (after MEGA SHARK VS. GIANT OCTOPUS and MEGA SHARK VS. CROCOSAURUS, so we can all hope they out do themselves on this one. After SHARKNADO I guess the stakes are higher, and the ridiculous factor should be aimed at WAY WAY over the TOP!
There are no plot details yet and we don’t know who will be in it. I would image some of The Asylum’s usual suspects will be involved, hopefully Debbie Gibson because c’mon she’s awesome. Perhaps Ian Ziering can return since he was such a great highlight of SHARKNADO, or maybe Eric Roberts, he was in SHARKTOPUS.
Naturally we shall keep you folks up to date on the latest developments with this film, can’t wait until some pictures emerge once shooting starts. I wonder what The Asylum version of a Mecha Shark will look like? Z grade goodness hopefully …
