Posted by on | Leave a Comment

Who is ready for a new film by David Cronenberg?

Well we certainly are, and the good news is one is coming! Titled MAPS TO THE STARS, and starring Robert Pattinson (thankfully COSMOPOLIS washed the Edward Cullen right out of him), this new film has begun shooting. The shoot will last 30 days, providing it all goes well, Pattison will star alongside John Cusack, Julianne Moore, Mia Wasikowska, Olivia Williams, Sarah Gadon and Evan Bird. A pretty impressive cast if we do say so!

We all love The Asylum (come on you know you secretly do), and coming off their social media hit SHARKNADO they have announced a new Shark related film!

So what is it this time? Well that Mega Shark has a new foe to battle with MEGA SHARK VS MECHA SHARK! This will mark the third film in the series (after MEGA SHARK VS. GIANT OCTOPUS and MEGA SHARK VS. CROCOSAURUS, so we can all hope they out do themselves on this one. After SHARKNADO I guess the stakes are higher, and the ridiculous factor should be aimed at WAY WAY […]

Posted by on | Leave a Comment

Okay Monsterfreaks, lets delve back under the sheets of the MIFF Night Shift program…

Check out this bevy of bloody beauties!

LESSON OF THE EVIL

MIFF8

In an unassuming Japanese high school, young, good-looking Mr Hasumi is everything a teacher should be: popular with staff and students; kind, talented, sympathetic; highly deranged. Obviously the stage is set for the kind of gleeful all-out massacre that only Takashi Miike (Ace Attorney, MIFF 2012) could possibly pull off.

If his recent films suggested that Miike might be slowing down, Lesson of the Evil takes those concerns, locks them inside a school and kills
