Funding has come through for Joe Dante’s long awaited Roger Corman biopic

Roger Corman is a much loved name, I mean really don’t we all have a fondness for the man and everything he has achieved?

Joe Dante is another much loved name, and Corman gave the man his start. Well Dante has long been wanting to make a Corman biopic. The film almost went ahead in 2010 and apparently Colin Firth was cast as Corman. But that obviously didn’t happen, and it has been in the wings await since.

Well the funding for the film has landed, thanks to SBS Productions. The script has Tim Lucas attached and Corman may even cameo as himself. The tentative title is THE MAN WITH THE KALEIDOSCOPE EYES, a very fitting one too.

We’ll be sure to keep our eyes on this project, it should turn out to be a very interesting piece indeed.
