Do we really want another JURASSIC PARK film? JURASSIC WORLD is coming though …
I am not really sure anyone asked for another JURASSIC PARK film, nothing could top the original and they did try as it did spawn two sequels.
Personally I really didn’t like THE LOST WORLD and the third film is a guilty pleasure, but they weren’t anything amazing.
The original will hold a special place in all our hearts, 20 years later we still watch it and love it. But we do live in the age of Hollywood forgetting about original content, and a reboot/sequel/whatever is actually going ahead.
It has been talked about for years, I don’t think anyone thought it would happen and I think the care factor really died out. But hey JURASSIC WORLD is coming, but do we care?
I am indifferent on it, it really does not excite me at all.
The film is making progress, there is a cast forming with Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson with Josh Brolin’s name being thrown around for good measure. Colin Trevorrow is on board as director and he’s also co-written the script with Derek Connolly. There were early drafts by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.
The US release date is June 12, 2015 and you can bet this will start shooting soon.
