Okay now BIRTH OF THE LIVING DEAD is not a new zombie film from George A. Romero, this may either be a disappointment to you or a huge relief, depending on how you felt about SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD.

Nope, this is in fact a new documentary about George A. Romero and the making of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. The old title for this one was YEAR OF THE LIVING DEAD but that has apparently been changed.

I absolutely love hearing about these days of filmmaking, and anything with George A. Romero on the making of his films I find absolutely fascinating. It will release in the US this month, and we will wait and see when we get to take a peak. The film was directed by Rob Kuhns, who is mostly known as an editor.

SYNOPSIS: A documentary that shows how George A. Romero gathered an unlikely team of Pittsburghers to shoot his seminal film: Night of the Living Dead.
