Nicolas Winding Refn is gearing up for a horror flick!
Whether you love him or hate him (I love him, shh), Nicolas Winding Refn has proved to be quite the interesting filmmaker. His films are all very different, but they do all feature his unique style, with so much to be said under the surface of what you may see.
After ONLY GOD FORGIVES, I am sure many of us have been wondering what is next for the man. Well, he is gearing up for I WALK WITH THE DEAD, in what has been described as ‘an all female horror film‘.
Nothing much else has been said about it in terms of what it will be about, however a writer is now currently on board. UK playwright Polly Stenham will pen the film, and Refn has stated he has always wanted to make films about women but it hasn’t quite worked out, he said “Maybe it’s because I don’t know how to write them.”
Which would be a good indicator in the hiring of Polly Stenham, I am sure we’ll be hearing more about this in due time.
