Scope out of the ‘M’ entries for ABC’S OF DEATH 2
With the deadline for the ABC’s OF DEATH 2 “M” segment quickly approaching in a few days, we thought we’d give you a sneak look at one of the great entries submitted for the film and tell you about the list of directors that have just recently been named.
The official ABC’S OF DEATH 2 Official site gives us this in regards to the new line up :
“Goya Award winner Álex de la Iglesia (THE LAST CIRCUS, DAY OF THE BEAST), ROOM 237 mastermind Rodney Ascher, Academy Award-nominated animator Bill Plympton; Filipino icon – and Director’s Fortnight inductee – Erik Matti (ON THE JOB, MAGIC TEMPLE), Lithuania’s Kristina Buozyte and Bruno Samper (VANISHING WAVES), Japan’s arthouse provocateur Sion Sono (COLD FISH, SUICIDE CLUB), SPLICE and CUBE’s Vincenzo Natali, indie horror icon Larry Fessenden (THE LAST WINTER, HABIT), THE COLLECTION’s Marcus Dunstan, France’s Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo (INSIDE, LIVID), E.L. Some very interesting names there with the highlights for me being INSIDE’s Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, MUTANT ACTION’s Álex de la Iglesia, SUICIDE CLUB’s Sion Sono and MONSTER favourites the Soska sisters.
