Remember that time that we had Eli Roth’s cannibal opus THE GREEN INFERNO scheduled to play at Monster Fest, and then at the last minute the film had to be pulled because of a contract dispute between Roth and the US distributors? Thank Christ that shit’s over! Finally the big screens of Australia will get their chance to part their curtains and flash audiences (at 24fps) a truly shocking piece of genre cinema thanks to the awesome folks at Pinnacle Films and Monster Fest (That’s us, yay!).

If you watch enough films you get yourself, and your expectations, into a rut. You lock yourself into certain conventions. You develop ideas about what a film can and can’t do; what it should and shouldn’t be. For example: In a slasher movie the villain always needs to wear a mask.
