Confirmed Australian Release Date for Rob Zombie’s 31 & Trailer!

Ahead of its November 23rd home entertainment release locally, we’re proud to announce that Rob Zombie’s 31 will play event screenings in select cinemas across Australia on Monday October 31st, Halloween night.

Five carnival workers are kidnapped and held hostage in an abandoned, Hell-like compound where they are forced to participate in a violent game, the goal of which is to survive twelve hours against a gang of sadistic clowns.

Filmmaker Addison Heath Discusses New Feature THE PERFECT NONSENSE

THE PERFECT NONSENSE, is an absurdist comedy that sees the unlikely pairing of Jaythan Rubin (Kenji Shimada), a socially awkward office worker with Bethany ‘G-Code’ Jones (Kristen Condon), a street wise gangsta rapper, as they roam a nonsensical wasteland together. While having flirted with the genre in the past, this film marks the first foray into more direct comedy for filmmaker Addison Heath, who penned 2013’s CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY VANILLA (2013) and the multi-award-winning, UNDER A KALEIDOSCOPE (2014) in which he both wrote and directed.

MELBOURNE UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL Announce 2016 Program

Yesterday, Melbourne Underground Film Festival (MUFF) launched their 2016 program with the proposition to ‘make the Australian film industry great again.’ Now in its seventeenth year, MUFF runs for nine days from Friday the 9th to Saturday the 17th of September across two venues, The Alex Theatre and its spiritual home, The Backlot Studios. Boasting fourteen features, five shorts programs and an academy, the festival will host the world premiere of THE PERFECT NONSENSE, directed by Addison Heath (Under A Kaleidoscope), as the opening night film.
