So some news has been circulating about a new HALLOWEEN film titled THE NEXT CHAPTER, well this news is in fact not accurate according to the Halloween Facebook Page.
But a new HALLOWEEN film is indeed in the works, we just don’t have any official details as of yet. We shall try our best to keep you updated of what is happening, and hopefully we can weed out the rumours and false stories too.
Here is the statement posted to the Halloween Facebook Page:
The rumors surrounding #Halloween The Next Chapter are not true.
Astron-6 (Fathers Day and Manborg) have released the teaser clip for their upcoming homage to giallo, The Editor. We ran an interview with them a few months back about the production you can check out below! The Editor will premiere at TIFF.
“A one-time (and now one-handed) master film editor toiling in the cinematic sweatshops of 1970s Italy becomes the prime suspect in a series of brutal murders, in this loving tribute to/parody of the gory giallo thrillers of Mario Bava and Dario Argento”
Good ol’ Takashi Miike, one of the busiest filmmakers out there has another film on the horizon. I mean of course he does right?
This one titled AS GOD SAYS aka Kamisama no lu Tori, is based on a comic series that appeared in Kodansha Comic Magazine, during 2011 and 2012 and was extremely popular selling over 1 million copies.
The film version from Miike, started filming in June and already has a teaser trailer, it wont be long until the film sees itself released in Japan, no doubt.
You can check out the teaser and the synopsis for the […]
Oh yes, the reveals are definitely coming in strong now for MAD MAX: FURY ROAD! And the word from SDCC is good, those who were there have raved about the footage and the panel, but wait what is that – the footage was released! Although this trailer is about 3 minutes shorter than what was shown at the event.
What else been revealed for general consumption are 4 brand spanking new posters! Now these posters look very heavily photoshopped but they do actually look pretty badass too. The Monsters Eye is very critical of film posters, so these getting my […]
Now personally The Monsters Eye had a great time with Gareth Edward’s GODZILLA, and yes a sequel is something I want. I am sure there are those out there who didn’t really like the film so this bit of news will probably not be suited for your tastes.
Coming out of San Diego Comic Con, Legendary Pictures announced that Gareth Edwards will in fact be returning for GODZILLA 2. He will be working on the sequel after his STAR WARS project for Disney is wrapped up.
But that isn’t all the news that Legendary announced about this up and coming […]
How many of us have felt like we should have horns on our head because we are little devil fiends? All of us? Yeah probably, well Daniel Radcliffe gets those horns in the film adaptation of HORNS.
HORNS is based on the Joe Hill novel of the same name, and this does see a pretty big departure for the former Harry Potter actor. He shed his British accent in this film, and as you will see in the trailer, he does a damn fine US accent, even if it does take some getting used to.
So a little awhile ago I told you fiends about Kevin Smith’s up coming film, simply titled TUSK. The poster had been debuted but that was it, not even a real synoposis.
Well since San Diego Comic Con is in full swing, Mr. Smith has decided this was the right time to debut the very first trailer, and of course I have it right here for you, because The Monsters Eye delivers the goods (usually eh).
Of course I have it here for you to check out, and let me say it really doesn’t have that Kevin Smith vibe, which […]
