‘The Conjuring 2’ Now the Highest Grossing Horror Film of All-time at the Australian & New Zealand Box Office!
The Warner Bros. Pictures’ 2016 supernatural horror, from Australian horror mastermind James Wan, has taken over $10.75 million at the Australian box office and over $2.21 million at the New Zealand box office, becoming the highest grossing horror film of all-time in both respective countries.
Bringing to the screen another real case from the files of renowned demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren, THE CONJURING 2 sees Oscar nominee Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson reprise their roles in one of their most terrifying paranormal investigations, travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.
ANNABELLE 2, a sequel to the 2014 spin-off is tentatively slated for a May 18th 2017 Australian theatrical and sees David F. Sandberg (LIGHTS OUT) take up the directorial reins.
THE CONJURING 2 which opened in Australia & New Zealand cinemas on June 9 2016, continues to play in select theatres and releases locally on DVD & Blu-ray on September 28th, 2016.
