Bruce Campbell talks ARMY OF DARKNESS 2 – is it on?
Alright, so we brought you the news that ARMY OF DARKNESS 2 was apparently in the works, back with the original team of Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell.
But we haven’t exactly heard much beyond that have we? Nope we sure haven’t, until now that is.
Mr. Campbell was a guest at the Wizard World Nashville Convention and this is what he told the crowd, with thanks to Bloody-Disgusting for this quote.
“The last one was twenty-two years ago. I just haven’t been racing to do it. Sam Raimi is just a little bit busy making the biggest movies in Hollywood. I used to be busy. Now I’m not. That’s why I’m here.”
“Ash would have to stop occasionally from chasing some deadite to catch his breath. Maybe we could do that, I guess. That would be exciting. Fight in a walker. That would be alright. Hit them with my cane. Fake them out, have a fake heart attack, distract a zombie. I like it.”
“Alright sir, the answer is yes.”
So is this a confirmation? I do believe so, and I will fucking be there for this one! I don’t care if Bruce is fighting deadites with a walking cane, I’d use one too.
