Due to unforeseen circumstances, THE GREEN INFERNO has been removed from the Monster Fest 2014 schedule. Instead, the festival will bring local audiences US horror-comedy, ZOMBEAVERS. Ticketholders for THE GREEN INFERNO will be contacted by Cinema Nova staff and offered a refund, as well as a bonus ticket to another Monster Fest session of their choice (excluding opening and closing night events).

ZOMBEAVERS is an action packed and hilarious film about three college girls who go on a carefree vacation filled with drinking games and sexual exploration. Their frolicking fun comes to an abrupt end when they’re attacked by toxic-zombie-beavers.

Monster Fest is also pleased to announce the inclusion of Australian short film, VIOLENT FLORENCE. Directed by Melbourne filmmaker Jaime Snyder, the film premiered at SXSW earlier this year and has since screened at a variety of festivals around the world. VIOLENT FLORENCE screens at Cinema Nova on Saturday the 29th of November, 7pm ahead of feature STARRY EYES.  The film’s director, Jaime Snyder, will attend the screening to introduce her film.

Due to popular demand the world premiere of UNDER A KALEIDOSCOPE and screening of THE EDITOR, both on Friday 20th of November, have both been moved to larger cinemas and additional tickets have been released for both sessions. Fans are urged to get in quickly, as tickets are selling quickly.

Also selling fast, are tickets to the master-class events at Yah Yah’s, Collingwood, which run from Monday 24th – Thursday 27th of November. Tables at The Collingwood Horror Trivia Massacre have sold out. All tickets and information for Monster Fest are available at www.monsterfest.com.au, For the latest updates, information and competitions follow Monster Fest on Facebook.
